We are delighted to offer first-class internships in Colombia, one of the world’s most exciting and fastest-growing economies. In today’s globalized world, internships in South America are an impressive addition to a resume. Experience in an emerging economy will give you extremely valuable first-hand knowledge, appreciated greatly by future employers. The old guard is changing, and it will be emerging economies that provide the growth to drive the world forward this century.
Colombia is an exhilarating emerging economy in which to complete your internship; Latin America is growing rapidly, and Colombia leads the pack. As a country ripe with natural resources and with the second largest population in South America, leading investment banks such as JP Morgan have labeled Colombia “the next star of the continent.”
Having partnered with the Colombian government and a range of Latin American blue chip companies, we are able to offer amazing international internship opportunities for the most talented and ambitious. We offer roles across all career fields– including political internships directly with the Colombian government, finance internships with top Latin American banks and business development roles in leading international firms.
We offer successful applicants a professional internship in their chosen career field. Our emerging markets program offers comprehensive personal and professional development. Quality accommodation, cultural and social events, internship mentoring, advanced career training, and 24/7 local support are all included.
Interning in Colombia offers applicants an amazing opportunity to gain vital work experience in an exciting organization, develop extensive networks and connections, improve Spanish language skills, and– crucially– experience an emerging economy in rapid development.
Due to the exclusivity of our partner companies, it must be noted that our program is selective.
Colombia’s great potential is finally being realized, the economy is flying and the world’s press is taking notice. Foreign investment is flooding into the country. Time Magazine calls Colombia “the most exciting new global player”.
Visitors are immediately seduced by Colombia’s breathtaking scenery. World class beaches, untouched forests, bustling cities…Colombia has it all! Combined with its rich cultural heritage and the warmth of its people, Colombia makes for a spellbinding place to visit. Perhaps this is why readers of the New York Times recently voted it the second most attractive tourist destination in the world. A Latin American gem.
Medellin, the City of Eternal Spring
Set in a stunning valley, surrounded by lush greenery on all sides, the city of Medellin is the vibrant base for our programs in Colombia. Known as the City of Eternal Spring, Medellin is the 2nd largest city in Colombia and her business and industrial heart being Headquarters of the majority of Colombia’s and many of Latin America’s largest companies. Mingle with the locals, known as ‘Paisas’, whom those in the know describe as some of the friendliest people on earth. Medellin is renowned for its civic pride and the city is exceptionally well taken care of by its ‘Paisa’ inhabitants. Culture and nightlife combine to make this a standout destination. The weather is the icing on the cake: Medellin has an outstanding, humidity-free climate with an average temperature of 25 degrees, all year round.
“Colombia is an exhilarating emerging economy in full swing. With the second largest population in South America and an abundant wealth of natural resources it has long held great potential.” JP Morgan

“Highlights of my internship have been getting to actually sit in front office. A lot of roles you might get in England would place you in a really administrative role in back office. I’ve been able to see how the actual trading goes on and I think it’s put me in a lot better position with this experience.”
IT - Colombia. Brian's Experience
“It was really fascinating when I got my first response from a client. It made my experience real, the feeling that I’m doing something for the company; I’m adding value to the company. That was phenomenal.”
