Our interns can also take on roles within criminal justice, including advocacy, psychology, research, and criminal law.

Responsibilities
Researching and reporting on previous case studies and legislation
In your capacity as a law intern, a significant part of your role may involve conducting extensive research on past case studies and relevant legislation. This research is instrumental in building a strong legal foundation and understanding the precedents and laws that pertain to the cases at hand. You may also be responsible for compiling and presenting your findings in comprehensive reports.
Assisting with preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions
Your responsibilities could include actively participating in the preparation for legal proceedings, such as trials, hearings, and depositions. This entails tasks like organizing evidence, drafting legal documents, and collaborating with legal teams to ensure everything is well-prepared and organized for these critical events.
Attending client meetings and assisting with clerical work
As an intern, you may have the opportunity to attend client meetings, where you'll gain valuable exposure to client interactions and the legal consultation process. You could also be involved in various clerical tasks, which may include document filing, record-keeping, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the law office or department.
