The Chile Experience

The community you build while living in Santiago is one that will support and impact you for the rest of your life. From your fellow interns to your manager or mentor, everyone you meet will be a valuable contact. The Intern Group’s international community is diverse and extremely unique – with interns and alumni from over 150 countries and every type of background imaginable. Interns in Santiago are presented with incredible learning and networking opportunities, and are surrounded by equally passionate and invested peers. 24/7 support

From recommendations of where to go during a long weekend, to advice about cultural differences between your home country in Chile, our staff in Santiago are there to guide and support you on program. Our Chile team will also organize your airport pick-up and drop-off for your internship program.

Should you want to speak to a licensed therapist while on program, we also provide each of our interns with access to Talkspace.  With the click of a button you can easily speak to a licensed professional over messages or video chat.

Optional language classes

Learning a new language is a great benefit of interning abroad. Every Spanish course gives you the opportunity to improve your all-around ability in Spanish by focusing on grammar, vocabulary development, speaking, listening and writing skills. We recommend private tutors and language schools. If you are interested just ask us.

Language classes are available throughout the whole year. Please note that they are not included in the program and have an additional cost, depending on the frequency of your class. Participants are also responsible for buying language textbooks.
