International internships in Melbourne

Overview

If you solely hold an Australian passport and have lived only in Australia for the past five years, you must join a program outside the country.

Melbourne is a commercial powerhouse, Australia’s busiest port, and home to the headquarters of five of Australia’s ten largest corporations, making it the ideal place to kickstart your career with an internship abroad. As Melbourne is a leader in publishing, finance, fashion, logistics, technology, marketing, and many other industries, we are proud to offer a diverse range of internships in Australia.

At The Intern Group, we help students and graduates secure tailored internships in Australia that align with their background, interests, and long-term goals. Our program is designed to support your full experience abroad, from your tailored internship placement and visa guidance to helping you settle into life in Australia with confidence.

During your internship in Melbourne, you’ll gain hands-on experience, build professional connections, and develop a stronger understanding of how global companies and international teams operate. Outside of your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Australia’s famous beaches, café culture, outdoor lifestyle, and multicultural cities while connecting with fellow interns from around the world.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your resume with international experience, or just immerse yourself in Australia's culture, this internship program is designed to help you make the most of your time abroad.
