Berlin, Germany

Much of Berlin’s charisma is owed to its turbulent history. Once the wall fell, the newly available space was filled by a reunited population experimenting and creating new forms of culture. These innovative subcultures still exist today and contribute to Berlin’s quirky aura. In a city where it’s impossible to tell the tourists from the locals, become a Berliner from the second you step off the plane.

There is no better destination for your internship abroad. Globally, Germany’s capital is influential in media, politics, science, technology and much more. If you’re interested in the creative industry, look no further. Berlin is home to hundreds of film and television production companies, art galleries and studios. Budding Berlin artists are becoming trendsetters the world over. For those pursuing careers in international relations, Berlin is the place for you. Given the global relationships forged by the Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin plays a pivotal role in German and European affairs today. The capital also boasts an impressive selection of research facilities, entrepreneurial think tanks and innovative technology firms. It’s fair to say that whatever it is you’re looking for, you’ll find it in abundance in Berlin.

Given Berlin’s resilience, it boasts a cultural and historical scene like no other. Visitors from all over the world arrive in their thousands to experience it. Berlin’s museums are recognized as some of the best in the world. Take the impressive complex on Museum Island, for example. A fountain of knowledge and a UNESCO world heritage site mixed into one. If museums aren’t your thing – don’t fear. You don’t have to spend all of your time inside viewing artefacts and reading labels. Berlin’s history and culture engulfs you. Wander along the remains of the Berlin wall, check out Checkpoint Charlie or stand in awe of the Prussian Palace. Berlin’s past is omnipresent.

World-renowned for its diverse and accepting nature, Berlin is the place to take your wildest dreams and turn them into a reality. Launch your career in Berlin – the welcoming haven where anything goes.

    What is the age requirement?

If you have finished high school, you qualify for our programs. We have a number of participants that are on their gap year, although the majority are completing undergraduate university degrees. Our programs are also suitable for recent university graduates, MBA graduates, and even experienced professionals in career transition. The key point is this: every internship we arrange is customized for each individual accepted onto our program, and for their unique background/stage of career.

Do I need prior work experience?

No. As we are a customized internship program, our roles coincide with each person’s education level and professional experience. We have a range of program participants – from those doing their first internship to executives with extensive, impressive careers who wish to experience a new career field/destination.

Who do you accept onto the program?

Our program participants have included Harvard MBA graduates to a 17 year old on their first overseas trip. What our thousands of alumni have in common is more fundamental than any educational or professional qualification – it is an international mindset, combining a desire and ambition to further themselves with a keen curiosity to learn more about the world.
