Lifetime Credit

You can enroll in The Intern Group program with confidence

We understand that plans sometimes have to change. That’s why we offer lifetime credit towards any of our programs at any time. This allows you to credit all program fees received by TIG towards future experiences with us, including our virtual internship program and/or in-person internship program.

If you need to postpone your program or change your destination, all of the fees that you have paid will be credited towards your adjusted program. We are committed to helping you realize your potential with an internship program through The Intern Group, even when your plans change.

FAQs

I enrolled in a program starting on a future date, but it has been suspended.  What does this mean for me?

You have a lifetime credit of the fees we’ve received from you. This credit can be applied to any of our programs at any agreed date in the future.

I started my program, but I left early because TIG suspended the program. What does this mean for me?

You have a lifetime credit for the value of every complete week of your program which you missed.

For example, if you had an 8-week program and it was suspended in the middle of the third week, you would receive a lifetime credit for the 5 remaining weeks which you can apply to any of our programs at any agreed date in the future.

I started my program, but I left early because I was worried about COVID-19.

I won’t be able to do any TIG program in the future. Can I have a refund instead of lifetime credit?

We offer programs for candidates at all stages of their academic or professional career, from gap year applicants to PhD students and those looking to change careers. That said, if you are unable to use your lifetime credit, you can transfer any or all of your lifetime credit to a friend or family member.

However, because The Intern Group must pay some expenses for your program even if you change your plans and don’t participate, it is not possible for us to give a refund. The lifetime credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash.

I want to change my program dates or destination. Do I benefit from lifetime credit?

Yes, if you request to change your program destination or dates at least 60 days before your program start date, you will benefit from lifetime credit.

However, if you request to change your program destination or dates fewer than 60 days before your start date, then The Intern Group may need to apply a change fee. This change fee may be up to 35% of your program fee. We will notify you and discuss your options before we apply the change fee.
