The health and safety of our program participants is our number one priority and all decisions about suspending programs will reflect that commitment. As an organisation with operations across the globe, we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and have implemented safety measures across all of our programs.
We are following the travel advice provided by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Advice (FCO).
Our policy is to consider a program destination for immediate suspension should the FCO advise against travel to that destination. Our programs have been impacted in the following ways:
Suspended through August 2020
The situation is constantly evolving. We will provide advice and assistance to each of our participants pre-program and on-site. We will help participants who do not feel comfortable participating in their original program due to COVID-19 concerns, (either because of their university requirements, or their own decision) by enabling them to change their program destination and/or start date. Our policy of lifetime credit covers any and all program fees paid – these are valid to be credited towards any program destination and/or start date in the future.
My program has been postponed. What are my options?
With the temporary suspension of our in-person internship programs for this summer, we are able to offer you Lifetime Credit. This allows you to credit all program fees received by TIG towards future experiences with us, be they virtual and/or in-person.
- Realize your potential through our Virtual Internship Program, with weekly start dates from June onwards. Our Virtual Program enables you to gain the experience you need, grow your network and make your resume shine, from wherever you are. The program includes a virtual internship, world-class career advancement training and a keynote speaker series featuring global business leaders.
- Postpone your in-person program to September 2020 onwards. See our program dates.
